Marie Sklodowska Curie Foundation History and Mission

The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Foundation was founded on May 3, 2007 on a day of 216 Anniversary of the ratification of the Polish Constitution—the first Constitution in modern European history and the second in the world after the US Constitution.

The Foundation is dedicated to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Poland, promoting science and mathematic studies among all students and to help Poles in the United States understand the necessity and importance of higher education as the way to success. One of our ultimate goals is to increase American understanding of the Polish culture, heritage and history.
